NEWS / Computex: Asus und Chip-con zeigen 4,37 GHz System

Die Unternehmen Asus und Chip-con halten auf der diesjährigen Computex eine ganz besondere Attraktion für die Besucher bereit: Einen übertakteten Intel Pentium IV Prozessor mit 3,2 GHz, welcher Dank der Prometia Mach II Kühlung auf satten 4,37 GHz betrieben werden kann. Die komplette Hardware-Ausstattung stammt dabei von Hersteller Asus: Asus P4C800 i875P Motherboard und Asus V9950 GeForce FX 5900 Ultra. Somit dürfte man auf der Computex 2003 das schnellste Desktop-System der Welt zu sehen bekommen.

The 4.37GHz system for Computex Taipei 2003 is an accelerated version of the standard 4.0GHz systems, which are commercially available through Chip-con. The 9% acceleration demonstrates the quality of ASUS motherboards as well as Chip-con’s cutting-edge cooling technology. The collaboration of the two companies has made possible frequencies not yet released by CPU manufacturers..."
